A 12-year-old girl is dead after an unknown incident on Thursday.
It was reported around 1:45 p.m. at an apartment complex near Lake Mead and Lamb Boulevards.
Preliminary information suggested that she may have drowned, however that appears to be inaccurate.
The child was transported to the hospital after having an asthma attack. Her exact cause of death and identity is unknown at that this time.
Abuse and neglect agents are investigating.
