UPDATE SEPT 28: The Clark County Coroner has identified the woman ran over and killed by a car on Fort Apache Road and Lake South Drive on Sept. 26.

71-year-old Angela Meyer from Las Vegas was the victim in the fatal incident.

Neighbors says Meyer and her husband Ezra moved to Las Vegas from London to be closer to their daughter Ariella and Ariella's husband.  They say Ariella was visiting them at their house when they decided to take an evening walk to the duck pond near their house.

They were crossing the street when the crash happened.

ORIGINAL STORY: A deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Lake South Drive at 8:03 p.m. on Sept. 26.

Evidence and witnesses at the scene showed three people were walking west across Fort Apache Road at the intersection of Lake South Drive when a Chevrolet Cruz hit two of them. Ariella Meyer Bails and another woman were the two hit by the car; the third person, Ezra Meyer, was not struck.

Both Ariella and the unidentified woman were transported to UMC Trauma and later was pronounced dead after arrival.

The 27-year-old driver of the Chevy Cruz, Emily Roe, remained at the scene to make a statement to police.
