LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police say one person was sent to the hospital after a shooting just before 4:10 a.m. at an apartment complex near Sunset Park.
Police say several people heard gunshots at Mirasol apartment homes near Warm Springs Road and Eastern Avenue.

When officers arrived at the scene they found a man with two gunshot wounds collapsed in the parking lot.
Police found another man in the parking lot believed to be the suspect. That man was taken into custody.
#UPDATE: Police say the victim collapsed in the parking lot after he was shot. Police believe a woman who was on scene knew the victim & suspect. She was not injured. This is an ongoing investigation @KTNV

The man shot was taken to the hospital and authorities say he is expected to survive.
