UPDATE: Coroner identifies man who died in fire near Paradise, Twain

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - UPDATE FEB. 12: The Clark County Coroner has named 73-year-old Edward Delgado as the mand who died in the fire on Royal Crest Circle on Jan. 28.

ORIGINAL STORY: One person is dead after a fire at an apartment building at 605 South Royal Crest Circle, near Paradise Road and Twain Avenue.

The fire started around 4 p.m. Sunday. When crews arrived at the scene, they found light smoke coming from the 2-story structure.

They began to search for the source of the smoke and found a smoldering fire in one of the apartments. A victim was also found and was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
