Thousands of cases of chocolates are being pulled from Walmart shelves due to allergy concerns.
The candy maker Mars is recalling 6,700 cases of Dove Chocolate Assortment Snowflakes because the items may contain some other candies, including pieces of Snickers, Milky Way and Twix. This was after someone found a piece of Snickers in one of the assortment bags.
The company is concerned about consumers allergic to peanut, wheat and egg, which are ingredients in the other candies.
The Dove Chocolate snowflakes are sold only at Walmart stores in 24-ounce bags.
Mars Chocolate says anyone with allergy concerns should return the product to the store for a full refund.
