LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — It's Cyber Monday. That means many of us will be searching the web for the best steals and deals. One site sure to get major traffic is Amazon. But before you buy, Contact 13 looks at the 4 things you need to know before you shop.

Amazon is known for it's great deals. But you may not be taking full advantage of all the savings.

Number 1: Did you know Amazon has an outlet? Just go to Amazon.com/Outlet.

The section sells overstocked items where you can get up to 75-percent off the regular price. Everything is categorized, including a category for items Under $10" and "Best Sellers." Keep in mind, stock is limited.

Number 2: Find out about price reductions. Simply sign up at CamelCamelCamel. The free Amazon price tracker alerts you of price drops on the items you want. It even gives you the history on pricing for those items.

Number 3: Use a special filter for discounts. No matter what you're looking for just add this to the end of the URL: &pct-off=30-50.

For example let's say you're shopping for a GPS watch. Simply add the special code and hit enter for watches that are 30 to 50 percent off.

Looking for a different discount, simply type it in. For example, you want 50 to 75% off, then type: &pct-off=50-75.

And number 4: Couples can use the same to shop for each other. You can share Prime benefits with your sweetie, while keeping separate accounts with Amazon Household.

As long as you agree to share the same credit card, you can both order using your own usernames. That way when you buy a gift for your loved one, they won't see it until you surprise them with it. When you manage your Amazon Household, you also can share e-books, games, and even photo storage.
