LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A Las Vegas advertising company is celebrating Black History Month in a big way.
Lamar Advertising is putting up billboards across the valley featuring several prominent Black figures in history.
The billboards will include:
- John Baxter Taylor Junior, the first Black Olympic gold medalist
- Juanita Hall, the first Black Tony winner
- Booker T. Washington, the first Black American on a U.S. postage stamp.
