Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada’s only childhood cancer outpatient treatment center, has announced an easy way for the public to support children battling cancer, while getting themselves in the holiday spirit.
With help from Las Vegas entertainers, vocalists, musicians and many others, the nonprofit organization produced a version of the holiday favorite "Sleigh Ride." The song is 99 cents and one hundred percent of the proceeds from downloads and streaming will go to Cure 4 The Kids Foundation’s Charity Care Program which ensures that patients who are uninsured, underinsured or who are unable to pay for services get the treatment they need.
The song features the vocals of Las Vegas-based performers Anne Martinez, Lily Arce, and Randy Sterns with a special raga performance by Cure 4 The Kids Foundation Chief Medical Officer Alan Ikeda, M.D.
The track was produced by two-time GRAMMY® Governor and Cure 4 The Kids Foundation Director of Marketing, Mitchell Koulouris and recorded in Las Vegas at Electric Shop Recording Studio thanks to a generous donation from studio owner and sound engineer, Andrew Beldy. Cure 4 The Kids’ CEO and Founder, Annette Logan was the track’s executive producer.
Founded in 2007, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation provides Joint Commission-accredited medical services to children affected by cancer, rare and ultra-rare diseases, sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, genetic and rheumatologic conditions. As part of its mission, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation does not turn any patient away from treatment for financial reasons. The Charity Care Program has assisted more than 500 families in getting the medical treatment they need since 2007.
