Security will be increased at Tuesday evening's Republican presidential debate.
The debate will be held at The Venetian hotel-casino.
Retired Lt. Randy Sutton, Action News crime and safety expert, said it's a team effort between the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, federal agents and the Secret Service.
"For an event like this, that is heavily scrutinized by the public the efforts have to be flawless," Sutton said.
Sutton said the main struggle is trying to balance the candidates, while wanting to be accessible to voters.
