KTNV will air a 30-minute coronavirus information special at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, instead of holding the LiveWell Health Fair that was planned for Saturday, March 21. We believe this is in the best interest of our community and is part of KTNV’s commitment to keeping the Las Vegas valley informed on the latest news and information related to the coronavirus.
Katlyn's Dream will be at the Live Well Health Fair on March 21 at Boulevard Mall.
WHO WE ARE
Katlyn's Dream is a not-for-profit that assists children with serious illnesses and their families when they need it most. Through our partnerships with Las Vegas pediatric units and Ronald McDonald Houses, we are able to provide individualized services to enhance their quality of life and assist with other needs during a very challenging time. We are also proud to announce our most recent team member, Dreamer, a Yellow Labrador that was born 2/10/19 and has been specially trained to be a Facility Dog specializing in pediatrics and pediatric critical care. Her training will not only allow her to provide comfort in a safe manner for some of the sickest pediatric patients in Las Vegas but to also show them that some of the treatments and procedures they need are not as scary as they may seem.
WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE
Dreamer the Hospital Dog will make a special appearance at the health fair.
