LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a 33-year-old woman arrested with two children at a Las Vegas Strip casino-hotel won't contest her transfer in custody to Oregon to face criminal charges in a child custody case.

A Las Vegas court official says Tiffany Marie Gallego waived extradition Monday during an appearance before a judge following her arrest May 2 at the Circus Circus resort.

Gallego remains at the Clark County jail.

U.S. marshals say she had been sought by police in Grants Pass, Oregon, on a custodial Interference charge alleging she failed to return her 4-year-old son to his father on April 12.

Marshals say Gallego had her 11-year-old daughter from another relationship with her in Las Vegas.

Officials say the children were turned over to Child Protective Services pending their return to Oregon.
