LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 13 Action News and our 13 Connects sponsors, America First Credit Union and Subaru of Las Vegas, are kicking off the holiday spirit with Stocking Stuffer week.
We are recognizing unsung heroes in the week leading up to our annual 13 Days and Knights of Giving campaign.
On Dec. 3 we surprised Louise Davenport who spends her days making quilts for veterans and active duty military members.
Many times using her own money to buy supplies to ensure there are enough materials to complete these quilts of valor.
Each quilt honors the military member's service to our country and we are proud to honor Davenport's sacrifices in helping make these quilts possible.
