The Nevada Health Center's Mammovan is making a difference for women in Southern Nevada.

Sherry Brady from Pahrump noticed a lump on her left breast but didn't have medical insurance.

She cam across the Mammovan, which offers free screenings, and it was discovered that she had stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer.

It's a rare form of cancer and it's very aggressive but easily treated.

She has been cancer free for three years now.

The Mammovan will be at the 13 Connects Live Well Health Fair on April 27. Appointments for the event are preferred and can be made by calling 877.581.6266. This allows the Mammovan to manage workflow and help the maximum number of people during the event, but they will do their best to accommodate walk-ins.

If you are unable to make an appointment or walk-in the day of the event, you can see our full schedule of stops on our website at: https://www.nevadahealthcenters.org/mammography/ [nevadahealthcenters.org]

The health fair is a free event supporting healthy living. The fair will feature free medical screenings for the entire family.

American First Credit Union and Subaru of Las Vegas are sponsors of the fair.
