Silverton Casino assisted the community by donating perishable food to local food banks in the Valley, as well as bottled water to local hospital staff and first responders.

Nevada Governor Sisolak’s order for all casinos to close their doors on Tuesday, March 17, temporarily halted gaming in Las Vegas, but it did not slow Silverton Casino’s positive impact on the community.

The following day, the volunteers made six trips and donated 21 pallets of food, equivalent to approximately 3,500 meals to local food banks in Clark County.

Just last month, a donation of 1,000 cases of bottled water was donated to local hospitals and first responders.

“While our property is temporarily closed, we recognize the need in our community and are thankful to be able to help in such an impactful way.” Silverton Casino President, Rob Kunkle shared.
