U.S. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) announced that the Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $1,510,708 to health centers to support vulnerable Nevadans.

The funding will be distributed as follows:

- $920,833 to the Southern Nevada Health District in Las Vegas

- $589,875 to the First Person Care Clinic in Las Vegas

Health centers are community-based and patient-directed organizations that deliver comprehensive, culturally competent, high-quality primary health care services.

These centers deliver care to Nevada’s most vulnerable individuals and families, including people experiencing homelessness, agricultural workers, residents of public housing, and veterans.
