Get Fresh Companies is honored to announce the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program, a partnership program provided by Get Fresh E Nonprofits on behalf of Pacific Coast Fruit Co, launched in Las Vegas/Nevada with food boxes delivery, offering fresh produce, intended to be donated to the families in the area, free of charge.
The program helps to connect suppliers and distributors with fresh products to communities in need, reducing food waste, addressing hunger and improving health and wellness, helping families integrate fruits and vegetables into their diets, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The performance period will take place during May 15 to June 30, with extension periods to be determined.
Families will receive the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box, packed, and delivered by a local non-profit partner, adhering to all local, state and federal COVID-19 and food safety guidelines.
