Big Chicken, NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal’s fast-casual chicken restaurant, launches Nacho Fries on Friday, May 15 as O’Neal judges Food Network’s Nacho Average Throwdown. Stacked with flavor, Big Chicken’s nacho fries include cheese sauce, crispy chicken, spicy peppers, avocado, green onion, cilantro and chipotle BBQ sauce.

Available for a limited time, a portion of proceeds from each Nacho Fries order will be donated to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, created by Guy Fieri and the National Restaurant Association to support industry workers impacted by the devastating COVID-19 closures across the country.

Big Chicken’s Las Vegas dining room reopened on May 10 as part of Nevada’s COVID-19 phase one recovery. The location continues to offer takeout and delivery as well. Big Chicken Glendale is currently open for takeout and delivery only.

The health and safety of guests and team members remain Big Chicken’s first priority. New policies and enhanced measures include: hand sanitizer stations, social distance seating, masks required for all staff members, daily team member wellness checks, all condiments and utensils maintained behind the counter along with tables and chairs cleaned and sanitized between each meal served.

Nacho Fries replace the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap that launched in February. Past limited-edition menu items have included the Big Waffle, Uncle Jerome and Charles Barkley. The Uncle Jerome and Charles Barkley sandwiches were so popular they returned as permanent menu items.

Big Chicken Las Vegas’ opening in October 2018 was chronicled with Big Chicken Shaq, an eight-episode Facebook Watch series that followed O'Neal and his restaurant team. Throughout the course of the series, fans had the opportunity to vote on menu items, final ingredients for certain dishes and even the restaurant’s logo.
