Detectives are searching for a shooter after two people were sent to the hospital Friday night, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. One of the victims is a teenager.

It happened across the street from Rancho High School near Owens and Eastern avenues.

A witness tells 13 Action News she heard arguing before the gunfire.

"I heard like bang bang, and a couple of minutes later like bang bang again," said the woman.
Police confirm the incident began as a confrontation between two groups.
Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, said police.
