LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Traffic backups on Interstate 15 near the Nevada-California state line have seen significant improvements on Friday afternoon, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada says.
As of 4:01 p.m., traffic delays on I-15 southbound had decreased to about a three-mile backup, the RTC stated.

That's down from an estimated eight-mile backup around 1 p.m.
If you're heading that way, you're advised to make sure you have a full gas tank, double-check your tire pressure, and bring food and water with you in case you encounter traffic troubles.
