LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 55-year-old man died after being hit by a car and then run over by another on West Charleston Boulevard Sunday afternoon, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The collision happened just before 4 p.m. south of Tonopah Drive near Rancho Drive.
Police said the pedestrian was crossing Charleston Boulevard from the north curb to the south curb outside of a marked or implied crosswalk.
The man was then hit by a Honda Civic and then run over by a BMW as it swerved to the right of the Honda.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as 54-year-old Vahan Nazarian.
The drivers and passengers of the involved vehicles were not injured, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
