LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — RTC of Southern Nevada sent an alert Monday afternoon saying that there is police activity on I-15 at 215 Northern Beltway and the I-15 is closed in both directions .
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department gave an update saying that they received a call for a stolen vehicle from a hotel in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.
Police say the car was taken by a male adult, and the vehicle was tracked going northbound on the I-15.
LVMPD says the car came to a stop on the I-15 near Tropical Parkway.
The subject stayed in the vehicle for some time according to police, but the subject exited the vehicle afterwards and was taken into custody.
