LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A person on an e-bike was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car late Tuesday afternoon in the northeast valley, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Police say the crash happened around 4:42 p.m. at the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Carey Avenue.
According to LVMPD, the 69-year-old e-bike rider ran the red light at Nellis and Carey, entering the path of the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro heading west on Carey.
The Camaro driver remained at the scene, and police said he showed no signs of impairment.
This crash remains under investigation.
