LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One person is dead after a crash in the northeast valley late Monday night.
It happened just before 11 p.m. on the I-15 at Tropical Parkway near the Speedway, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
A white 2020 Honda Accord sedan was traveling south on I-15, according to Highway Patrol. The driver failed to maintain their travel lane and traveled off the roadway and continued through the shoulder area, west of I-15, authorities said.
The Honda hit a concrete barrier wall and continued south, hitting an overhead sign support and caught fire.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
