LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. (LVMPD) has shared information with us regarding a fatal traffic incident this evening.

According to LVMPD, the crash happened at Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road, and involved a pedestrian and a vehicle.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, Metro said.

Police advise avoiding the area at this time, as southbound lanes will experience closure during the course of the investigation.
