THE NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (NDOT) HAS ANNOUNCED THE FOLLOWING RAMP IMPACTS ALONG INTERSTATE 15 AT SPRING MOUNTAIN ROAD IN LAS VEGAS. — The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) announces the following ramp impacts along Interstate 15 at Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas:
June 20-21 (Thursday Night-Friday Morning)
• The Spring Mountain Road onramps to Interstate 15 north and southbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 20, until 5 a.m., June 21.
• The Interstate 15 southbound exit to Spring Mountain Road westbound will be closed from 10 p.m., June 20, until 5 a.m., June 21.
The temporary closures are needed for permanent striping as part of a $427,000 milling and paving upgrade to the Interstate 15 Spring Mountain Road freeway ramps. Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor.
Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled changes, closures and
