LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Vegas Golden Knights are gearing up for a youth clinic and watch party road trip to northern Nevada.

The team is planning youth hockey clinics and watch parties taking place in Reno on Dec. 12 and Carson City on Dec. 13.

Each event will feature appearances from Chance and the Knights Guard presented by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Youth hockey clinics will be closed to the general public, while admission to watch parties is free as fans will have the opportunity to win a variety of Vegas Golden Knights prizes.

"Our upcoming trip to Northern Nevada provides another opportunity to engage with our fans in the areas around Reno and Carson City in an effort to grow the great game of hockey," said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. "Having support from all areas of the state is important to our organization and we are celebrating by hosting unique watch parties at the historic Little Waldorf Saloon and the Governor’s Mansion. We are extremely thankful for our passionate fans and are always looking for ways to connect to those who support our organization outside of Las Vegas."

The trip will begin on Dec. 12 with youth hockey clinics taking place at Greenbrae Elementary School and Dilworth Middle School in Reno.

The team will then host an official watch party for fans at the Little Waldorf Saloon while the Golden Knights take on the St. Louis Blues. The watch party begins at 4 p.m. with puck drop at 5 p.m.

On Dec. 13, youth hockey clinics will continue at Bordewich-Bray Elementary School and Carson Middle School in Carson City.

Later that day, the team will host an official watch party inside the Nevada Room of the Governor’s Mansion as the Golden Knights play against the Dallas Stars.

Doors open at 4 p.m. with the game starting at 5 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items as part of a food drive being held at the Governor’s Mansion.
