Fans laced up their skates and hit the ice to watch the Golden Knights game Thursday at City National Arena in Summerlin.
It was the first of three watch parties the team will be hosting this season.
In addition to skating, there was autographed Knights memorabilia auctioned off.
Bill Foley, founder and CEO of the Knights, said he would like to see more ice rinks built in Henderson so a youth hockey league could be started.
The family-friendly events cost $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
