SAN DIEGO (KTNV) — A California university has rolled out COVID-19 test vending machines.
With the pandemic still raging, regular testing has become the new normal for students at UC San Diego.
Testing there is currently required weekly.
School officials say the automated machines are the first of their kind on a U.S. college campus.
After self-administering and returning the swabs, results can be received in less than two days.
