LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Many in the valley are working to recover from the financial fallout of COVID-19 and some of us are facing piling bills - including medical debt.
Craig Antico is one of the founders of the national nonprofit RIP medical debt.
They pay off lingering medical bills for people who can't afford to pay them.
Some health insurance companies plan to cover deductibles or co-pays during the pandemic, but not everything.
However, Antico says medical bills are negotiable.
