To commemorate three years in the Robert L. Forbuss Building and 22 years in the community, The Center will host its third annual HOMECOMING community event on Saturday, April 2 with events from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Doors to The Center open at 10 a.m. for a comprehensive health and wellness fair co-hosted with Lambda Business Association and sponsored by Huntridge Family Clinic.
The fair will feature Nevada Health Center’s Mammovan and Care Mobile as well as free health screenings and educational information from more than 30 health service organizations.
At 1 p.m., attendees may mix and mingle at a complimentary ice cream social sponsored by Anderson Dairy. Tours of The Center will be available, and attendees will have a chance to win generous raffle prizes.
Free HIV and syphilis testing will also be available for Nevada residents throughout the day in The Center’s wellness center, courtesy of Southern Nevada Health District. HOMECOMING is free and open to the public.
