America's Got Talent finalist Sam Wills, a.k.a. Tape Face, kicked off Nevada Reading Week on Feb. 27 at Somerset Losee and Somerset Lone Mountain by reading to about 1,400 students.

Two books were featured during Wills' visits - "The Gashlycrumb Tinies: A Very Gorey Alphabet Book" by mid-century illustrator Edward Gorey, and "The Book with No Pictures" by actor B.J. Novak.

Wills also spoke with the children about his clown school and juggling training. He also delivered a message of staying true to yourself, even if it's weird.

Another reading event will be held at The Animal Foundation on 655 North Mojave Road from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 1.
