Dress for Success Southern Nevada announced that a record-breaking 715 women were suited in 2015.
It is the first time since the charity’s founding in 2009 that more than 700 women were suited in a single year.
The organization reported a 20 percent increase in clients electing to come back for a week’s worth of business attire. The organization offers clients who obtain employment the opportunity to come back for a second suiting to receive one week’s worth of additional professional clothing.
Dress for Success Southern Nevada provides professional clothing, career assistance, counseling and a network of support to disadvantaged women. Through referrals from partnering organizations, Dress for Success offers programs that help women find and retain employment. Taken together, Dress for Success Southern Nevada’s programs have served more than 3,500 women since the inception of the affiliate in 2009.
