LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The people living at the local active adult community Las Ventanas at Summerlin got a visit from special therapy animals on Thursday.

The residents were visited by a therapy camel and a unicorn.

The visit was part of a partnership with Petting Zoo 2 U. The mobile zoo brings animals to people for some fun entertainment during the pandemic.

Research has shown animals can reduce stress, anxiety and blood pressure. They also provide a calming effect.
