Nevada SPCA is a proud participant of this year's Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days happening on Sept. 25 and 26.

All adoption fees will be waived for available dogs, cats, and kittens thanks to generous funding provided by the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation.

Nearly 5,800 animals across the state of Nevada, have found their forever homes during this event over the past two years thanks to the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation.

Although Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days is traditionally held twice a year, the Spring 2020 event was canceled due to concerns surrounding Covid-19. This weekend's event will include 46 Nevada animal welfare organizations, including Nevada SPCA.

Nevada SPCA will offer two adoption sites:

- PetSmart (7050 Arroyo Crossing Parkway), no appointment is required.

- Nevada SPCA animal shelter (4800 West Dewey Drive), by appointment only. Appointments for the shelter location can be made by clicking here and selecting the "adoptable dogs" or "adoptable cats" tab.

Adoptions at both locations on Friday and Saturday will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visit the Maddie's Pet Project website for additional participants, information, and real-time adoption statistics.
