LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Neon Museum in Las Vegas is accepting applications to be an artist-in-residence with the museum this summer.

The Neon Museum National Artist Residency 2020 includes a $3,000 stipend, $800 travel allowance and a one-bedroom apartment in downtown Las Vegas for eight weeks, from June 15 through Aug.7.

The artist will also have access to the museum's on-site collection and archives, as well as a studio space.

The museum says digital, performance or visual artists who are based in the United States and over the age of 18 may apply.

The application deadline is Feb. 7. The selected artist will be announced on March 13.

Red Rock Canyon has another opportunity for artists in the Las Vegas area. The museum is accepting applications for its two-week artist-in-residency programs this spring. The deadline to apply is Feb. 15.
