Jenny Baumgartner and her mother, Wendy, take their cookies very seriously.

Wendy has been working in the food industry for over 30 years, and Jenny has been helping her in the kitchen since she was five years old.

That experience culminates into The Cookie Bar - a cookie delivery service that specializes in gourmet alcohol-infused cookies and treats.

Jenny Baumgartner says that she and her mother started bringing their treats to community events around the Las Vegas valley about five years ago but always had their eyes on a delivery service.

"It was just a dream that we had," said Jenny, "to be able to go to the people rather than wait for them to come to us."

A series of fortunate events helped the food truck idea come together. Jenny and her mother won a crowdfunding contest from the Small Business Association and were awarded $10,000. They used that money to purchase a small kiosk to sell goodies.

Meanwhile, Jenny met her husband at one of the events where she was serving cookies. He eventually built a fleet of three small food trucks to help out with the business.

Now in their fifth year of operation, the Cookie Bar has since purchased a commercial kitchen to serve their three food trucks and online store.
