The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and The Rogers Foundation announced today that nominations are now open for the 6th-annual Heart of Education Awards, honoring outstanding educators in Clark County School District (CCSD).
Community members are encouraged to nominate teachers through Jan. 15, 2021.
The top 20 teachers will each receive a $5,000 cash award, plus a $1,000 donation to the school program of their choice.
All submissions will be reviewed by a group of community leaders and education experts.
Over 800 teachers were honored by the fifth-annual Heart of Education Awards in May of this year. Since this awards program began, a total of 100 teachers have received Heart of Education Awards
