Great Vegas Festival of Beer returns to Downtown

Posted at 1:58 PM, Feb 13, 2017

The Great Vegas Festival of Beer is returning to Downtown Las Vegas on April 7-8, along with more than 500 craft beers from 110 breweries.

This year's festival goes beyond samplings with the Mad Craft Experience, held from 7-10 p.m. on April 7. Described as a "science fair for beer lovers" by Motley Brews CEO Brian Chapin, the event pairs top chefs chefs, brewers, and special guests as they host various experiments with beer.

Other festival activities include The Great Vegas Grand Tasting from 3-7 p.m. on April 8. There will also be life-sized pub games, interactive entertainment, a silent disco, BrewLogic seminars, and more.

Tickets start at $70 for the Mad Craft Experience, and $40 for the Grand Tasting. VIP options are also available starting at $85. For more information, click here.

A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit local nonprofits. Last year's festival supported the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation and Nevada Craft Brewers Association.
