The College of Southern Nevada’s Planetarium will host a lecture series this month featuring samples from NASA’s Apollo missions to the moon.

This will be part of the CSN Planetarium-NASA Space Grant lecture series at the CSN Planetarium on the Cheyenne Campus in North Las Vegas. The marble-sized moon rock samples, which are on loan from NASA, will be available for public viewing and inspection via microscope.

The planetarium’s guest speaker will be Charles Kotulski, a CSN chemistry instructor who has been granted certification by NASA to access the lunar samples.

The series dates are:

· 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15

· 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19

· 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28
