Rampart Casino brings back veteran handicapper Bob Ike for a Kentucky Derby betting seminar

After being sidelined from its historical May date, the 146th Annual Kentucky Derby is here and Rampart Casino in Summerlin is the best place to watch all the action at the Twin Spires. During Derby weekend, there will be festivities for guests of all skill levels who want to get in on the horse racing action.

Sept. 4
Race Betting Seminar and Raffle inside Cascade: Learn to bet like a pro with the help of veteran handicapper Bob Ike and Race & Sports Manager Duane Colucci. In this Derby Day Seminar, the duo will handicap each horse, and give some tips and tricks of the trade, giving guests have a leg up on the race.

Guests can pick Derby selections on-site and enter the Derby raffle, which will be held at the conclusion of the seminar (prizes can be collected at end of the Derby run on Saturday).

Seating is limited to the first 50 attendees. Social distancing will be enforced and masks are required per state regulations.

Sept. 5
Derby Day Race & Sports Book Specials: Place a $10 Derby bet and receive a free commemorative t-shirt while supplies last. Cool down with $2 Mint Juleps all day Saturday at the Race & Sports Bar.

Professional handicapper Bob Ike has worked in the horse racing industry since he could place his first bet. Ike has been a leading public handicapper since 1985, where he also shares his expertise as a radio host and on his website, BobIkePicks.com.

Golden Circle Sports Book & Bar: To celebrate the Derby, drinks specials will be available from $10 Mint Juleps, $10 Shots (Woodford Reserve, Woodford Reserve Mint Julep), $8 Drafts (Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider), $10 Bottled Cider (Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider), and 4 for $30 Beer Buckets (Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider).

Twin Peaks: To celebrate Kentucky Derby Day, Twin Peaks will be offering $5 Kentucky Mules all day.
