600 people from throughout the Las Vegas community came together to raise nearly $100,000 for at-risk Clark County students - and play a little dodgeball.

The 4th annual After-School All-Stars dodgeball tournament took place on Saturday at the Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA. Attendees got to see performances from the Gibson Middle School drumline, as well as the C. P. Squires Elementary School ballet folklorico.

Emily Jillette, the wife of Penn Jillette, took home the best costume trophy with her team, VegasStrongArms, who all dressed as celebrities from the Las Vegas Strip. The team also took first place in the competition.

Participating teams came from all over the Las Vegas valley, ranging from law firms, nightclubs, restaurants, resorts, car dealerships, commercial real estate firms, the Clark County School District, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. 13 Action News Staff also competed in the tournament.

Money raised from the event benefited After-School All-Stars, which provides many kinds of free programming to nearly 8,000 students at 16 at-risk Clark County elementary and middle schools.
