Melinda Sheckells, Las Vegas lifestyle and entertainment expert, shares recommendations on what to try this week and what’s happening around town in the realm of dining and drinking.

Even though most of us are at home right now, there are many great Las Vegas restaurants open and serving through curbside, takeaway and delivery.

Locale (7995 Blue Diamond Road #106) announced last week that Marc Marrone has come onboard as a consultant. Marrone is the chef-owner of Graffiti Bao in the southwest and the former executive chef of Tao Restaurant in The Venetian and Lavo in The Palazzo.

New menu items set to debut this week include a white clam pizza with pecorino, garlic oil, Sicilian oregano and parsley and a wood-fired cauliflower vegan dish with citrus, mint, pickled shallots and parsley pesto.

Family dinners with a choice of salad and a main course such as chicken parmigiana, lasagna, rigatoni or spaghetti and meatballs serve 4 to 6 people for $50, with a bottle of wine included. All wine is half off on Wednesdays. Plus, Locale has wine, bread and produce available through its market.

Locale is open from 3 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday; and noon to 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. They have takeout and curbside; and use delivery partners Postmates and UberEATS. localelv.com

Let Partage (3839 Spring Mountain Rd.) do the cooking for you. The highly lauded off-Strip gourmet French restaurant does both daily and weekly menus.

Lunches range from an Oriental hot dog with chick peas and homemade potato chips to vegan or caprese bruschetta with spring salad; while dinners can be anything from French landaise salad with duck breast, lobster linguini pasta and a fruit tart to asparagus soup, vegan or pork pot au feu and chocolat pot de crème.

Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays are delivery or pickup days, with orders taken 24 hours prior. $60 per person per day includes lunch and dinner; $20 per individual lunch and $40 per dinner; or $340 per person for the week. Each meal has a suggested by-the-bottle wine pairing. partage.vegas

7th and Carson (616 E. Carson Ave.) is one of the only restaurants currently open in Downtown Las Vegas’ Fremont East district. In addition to their breakfast, lunch and dinner options such as the “perfect” burger, crispy wings and traditional fish and chips, 7th and Carson also has a corner market with grocery items, packaged liquor, bottles of wine, beer and pantry essentials.

They are open daily for delivery and curbside pickup from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Donate a meal to the homeless for $5. 7thandcarson.com

Cookie sensation Crumbl has three locations around Las Vegas. Every week, the rotating menu features new, delicious flavors. This week, check out the Lemon Glaze, a warm lemon sugar cookie topped with lemon glaze and a slice of lemon; the Butterfinger, a warm peanut butter cookie with Butterfinger pieces topped with a milk chocolate drizzle and crushed Butterfinger; and the Sour Patch Kids, a chilled sugar cookie with Sour Patch Kids mixed in topped with lime frosting. Twenty percent of the profits from the Sour Patch Kids cookie go to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
