LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A pizza shop in Henderson is hoping to boost business during these tough times by letting you take the pizza party home with you. It's a little tough to find, but inside the E-String Poker Bar in Henderson is Da' Crust Pizza & Kitchen.

Chef Frank McCarron is famous for his fresh pies, both Chicago deep dish and New York-style. He says customers' favorite part is, fittingly, the crust!

"It's what's in it. I'm the only one in the country, in the world that has it. I came up with the secret ingredient that's in the crust that nobody else uses," said McCarron.

On a typical night, the poker bar, dining room, and pizza shop are packed with people. But without any live bands or poker to play because of the novel coronavirus, Da' Crust has seen a significant slowdown and the staff has been slashed to just two employees, with Frank being one of them.

"Obviously, the dining room is gone. So, that took a significant hit. The [delivery] apps take a pretty big chunk, but we are here to keep the place open for the locals because they're probably tired of eating at a grocery store," said McCarron.

That's exactly why Chef Frank decided to bring back the pizza kits he used to sell to his friends and coworkers years ago.

The kits come with all the ingredients needed to make a pizza in your own home, including the frozen crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.

From there, Frank says it's up to you how you want to put it together and what extra ingredients you want to add before cooking it in a regular kitchen oven. He's hoping these home pizza kits will bring a boost to business at Da' Crust while taking pressure off parents at home while they're quarantined with their kids.

"For the kids to have something to do, that's priceless, especially now. They're stuck at home and they just have a riot when they're making these pizzas. They can have competitions with each other, who has the best pizza," said McCarron.

Currently, Da' Crust Pizza & Kitchen is open for pickup Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. -10 p.m. and from 11 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
