LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Sofrito Rico was voted a Las Vegas valley favorite in 2016.
Susanatte and Jason Sandoval, the owners of Sofrito Rico, said the recipes were passed down from their family.

The restaurant found success paying homage to the their culture and serving Caribbean flavors and spices.
But while in the coronavirus pandemic, their dining room is closed and now they are only relying on delivery, take out and their food truck.
"At first we didn't know what to expect in the first few days it was a little slow," Jason Sandoval said.
Now the couple is finding comfort and reassurance in the community.
"We are very thankful to have a customer base that supports us all the time. We are fortunate," Sandoval said.
Sofrito Rico is located at 5201 W Charleston Boulevard Suite 110 in Las Vegas.
