Sin City Horror Fest, Dollar Movie Night and Halloween movies with film critic, Josh Bell

-The second year of the Sin City Horror Fest showcases independent horror features and short films, plus a special screening of the original 1978 "Halloween." October 19-21, various times, $10 per screening, $25 passes, Brenden Theatres at the Palms.

-The Sci Fi Center celebrates its new location in Commercial Center with a Dollar Movie Night featuring the cult classic 1972 martial arts movie "Five Fingers of Death." October 20, 8 p.m., $1.

-Teen vampire movie "Twilight" starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, based on the Stephenie Meyer novel, returns to local theaters for its 10-year anniversary, with new bonus features plus a commemorative poster for attendees. October 21 & 23, 2 & 7 p.m., prices vary

-Tim Burton's supernatural comedy "Beetlejuice," starring Michael Keaton, returns to theaters for a 30th anniversary special. October 20, 2 p.m. & October 24, 7 p.m., $5. Regal Cinemas Red Rock, Village Square, Colonnade

-The District at Green Valley Ranch presents 1993 stop-motion animated classic "The Nightmare Before Christmas" for its Fall Movie Nights, outdoors on the green behind Whole Foods. October 20, 7:30 p.m., free.
