A long-cherished celebration will come to life Saturday, April 28, as the Springs Preserve hosts its ninth annual Día del Niño (“Children's Day”) event, from 12-5 p.m.
Celebrated worldwide at various times throughout the year, notably in countries such as Mexico, Día del Niño is all about the little ones.
The family-friendly celebration will feature an exhibit of art by internationally-renowned Latino artists, as well as art & music workshops, cooking demonstrations hosted by Wynn Resorts and Station Casinos, and live music and entertainment on two stages. Enjoy hours of fun for children of all ages, including a petting zoo and face painting, along with magicians and plenty of traditional food, hands-on arts and crafts and much more.
Admission is $6; children ages 2 and under are admitted free. Advance tickets are available at the Springs Preserve box office and at springspreserve.org.
