What is the ideal temperature for sleeping?
A new recommendation from Energy Star, according to Consumer Reports, says you should set your thermostat to 78 degrees when you're at home, 85 when at work and 82 when you are sleeping if you want to save money.
But, that's not the ideal sleeping temperature.
The National Sleep Foundation suggests keeping your bedroom between 60 and 67 degrees. They say sleeping in colder temperatures help your internal clock stay cool, which helps you sleep more comfortably.
