LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has issued an apology to rapper Meek Mill following an incident at the hotel-casino over the weekend.
Mill and two members of his security were reportedly stopped by security on May 25 as they arrived, TMZ reports. They were told that if Mill got out of the car, he would be arrested.
In a statement released on Twitter on May 31 the hotel-casino said:
We apologize to Meek Mill for how we handled the situation on Saturday, May 25, as we did not act in a respectful manner and were wrong. Meek Mill has not had any prior incidents on our property. The Cosmopolitan has zero tolerance for discrimination and we pride ourselves on providing an inclusive environment. We look forward to welcoming Meek Mill back to the resort.
