A South Carolina school district is looking into an incident after a 6-year-old says her teacher threw away her shoes.
Now, the family says she's changing schools because she was humiliated.
The little says her teacher threw them in the trash because she was playing with them after she was told not to.
She says eventually the teacher told her to get them out and put them back on.
The family says they talked to the school district who told them they do not tolerate embarrassment or humiliation as a form of punishment, and they're now looking into what happened.
