Nearly 30 years after Marty McFly wore sneakers with power laces in "Back to Future II," Nike is launching the real version.
Nike is calling them "Hyper Adapt" and says the self-tying shoes will go on sale in December. Originally, they were going to be on sale Cyber Monday -- Nov. 28.
The Hyper Adapt shoes will be selling for $720. The sneakers will be available on Dec. 1 at select stores in New York City. After that, they will be available via the Nike Plus app and select locations later in December.
Nike says the self-lacing shoes are lightweight and rechargeable.
